Powertrains

Choose between two powertrain options for your V60 plug-in hybrid. Both enable all-electric driving for most daily trips. And when adventure calls, a finely-tuned petrol engine lets you cover more ground.

T6 AWD
Our standard powertrain delivers power without compromising energy efficiency. An electric motor drives the rear wheels powered by an advanced 19 kWh lithium-ion battery. A high-performance petrol engine powers the front wheels. This means smooth electric power for day-to-day driving and excellent all-wheel drive capabilities.

T8 AWD
The performance option. This powertrain shares the 19 kWh lithium-ion battery and all-wheel drive system with the T6 AWD, but it has more power and quicker acceleration that delivers an exhilarating driving experience.

Four drive modes
Choose from four drive modes that adapt the car for efficiency, power or tricky road conditions: Hybrid, Power, Pure and Constant All-wheel Drive (AWD).

One pedal drive
Both powertrain options feature one pedal drive to improve efficiency and make driving smoother. Speed up and slow down using just the accelerator.
