Volvo Car UK is proud to collaborate with the Motability Scheme, a registered charity which provides access to transport for disabled people, allowing you to use your mobility allowance to lease a new vehicle.

Who is eligible?

If you receive one of the following Mobility Allowances, you can apply to lease a new Volvo on the Motability Scheme:
• Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
• Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
• War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement (WPMS)
• Armed Forces Independence Payment (AFIP)
• Enhanced rate mobility part of Adult Disability Payment (Scotland)
• Higher rate mobility component of Child Disability Payment (Scotland)

All-inclusive package

The Motability Scheme is an all-inclusive package.
Every three-year car lease includes:

• Insurance for up to three drivers
• Servicing and maintenance
• Full breakdown cover
• Tyre repair and replacement
• A home chargepoint and standard installation when you choose an electric vehicle on the Motability Scheme, or access to the bp pulse network

Following UK Government tax changes, updates are being introduced to ensure the Scheme remains sustainable long term. From 1 July 2026 the lease will include:
• Mileage allowance: 30,000 miles over a three-year lease
• Tyre replacement: up to six tyres during a three-year lease (including up to four due to damage)
• EU breakdown: customers will need to pay an admin fee for a VE103 certificate and inform the RAC when travelling outside the UK
