Included in your subscription

3 months’ notice

Subscribe flexibly to change car or cancel with 3 months’ notice, or subscribe for a fixed 36-month period and pay a lower fee. The flexible offer includes a 30-day trial.

No hidden costs

With your subscription car, there’s no deposit or negotiation required. Instead you pay a clear monthly fee that covers most practicalities.

All-inclusive

Your subscription includes service, maintenance, wear & tear cover, vehicle tax and more. You have the option to add insurance or choose your own.

Initial 30-day trial period

Once you get your car, you have 30 days to try it. During that time, there’s no notice period and you can quit without any exit fee. You can also register for our 30-day comprehensive insurance at no extra cost and with no further commitments. The 30-day trial is not included for fixed-term subscription offers.

Service & maintenance

Your car is covered for scheduled maintenance work. We’ll notify you when a service is due – and clean your car after each visit.

Wear & tear cover (incl. tyres)

During your car’s scheduled maintenance, we’ll change or repair any parts, including tyres, worn through normal use.

Courtesy car/Collection & delivery

When your car is in the workshop for a service, we can provide a replacement vehicle or collect and return your car (max. range 20 miles; max. 10 miles within M25).

Mandatory tax & inspections

Legally required vehicle tax (VED) and vehicle testing (MOT for cars aged 3+ years) are included. We’ll notify you when they’re due. Contact us if your car displays any related messages.

You can contact us by phone, email or chat. Monday to Friday 09:00–18:00.

Volvo Cars app

Your car’s inbuilt system connects to an app, so you can request assistance, get theft warnings and control features remotely. It automatically alerts emergency services if you’re in a crash.

24/7 roadside assistance

If you have an accident, breakdown, lockout or flat tyre, just press your car’s Volvo On Call button to request assistance. If we can’t help on the spot, we’ll tow you to a Volvo retailer.

How much could you save?

How far can I drive in my XC40 Recharge? Discover how city, motorway or combined driving affect range.

City 420km

City driving and low average speeds tend to be the most efficient scenarios for electric cars. However, in colder weather, when you are more likely to use the heater and with other factors taken into consideration, the vehicle range is approximately 210km.

Combined 360km

This is a combination of city and motorway driving. At an average speed that reflects these circumstances but in lower temperatures and with increased use of the vehicle’s heating system, the vehicle range is approximately 200km.

Motorway 300km

On the motorway at average speeds of around 100km/h, the power required to overcome higher wind resistance puts extra demands on the battery. In colder weather and in less than ideal road conditions, the vehicle range is approximately 220km.

*WLTP testing is controlled and standardized. The range estimates presented in the city, combined and motorway scenarios above are experimental results and are solely for illustrative purposes to demonstrate the possible effects of driving style and temperature on range. The ranges presented above are derived from testing centre and real-world driving tests performed by Volvo Cars and these outcomes are not guaranteed. Your real-world range outcomes may vary from those above. The estimates above in bold are based on a fully charged battery and a temperature of 23C. For the cold climate range data provided the temperature is estimated at -7C.
