When changing ownership of a car with connected services, there are some steps that need to be taken by both the previous and new owner.
Selling your car
If you sell your car, you should take the following steps:
Disconnect the Volvo Cars app.
Perform a factory reset in the centre display.
Buying a car equipped with connected services
If you buy a pre-owned car, you should connect the Volvo Cars app to the car. See the following article for more information:
