Volvo Car Australia is bringing the all-electric C40 Recharge to shopping centres in New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland. If you want to get up close and personal with the future of motoring, this is your chance.

Last year’s shopping centre roadshows were a huge success, with hundreds of thousands of Australians getting a first peak of Volvo Car’s first pure electric model.

With the car now available to order, the events provide an opportunity for future customers to understand first-hand the C40 Recharge’s quality, luxury and performance.

The first pure electric vehicle model created by Volvo, the C40 Recharge has up to 500km of range*, 300kw of power, can accelerate from 0 to 100 in 4.7s, and can “fast charge” from 10 to 80 per cent in 28 minutes**.

Volvo Car Australia has urged retailers in the vicinity of the activations sites to prepare for a major influx of enquiries over the two-week period.

With zero tailpipe emissions, it is a vehicle that doesn’t force drivers to choose between power and responsible driving. It has a contemporary design and luxurious interior, with features like Google built-in***, an air purifier system, a 360-degree camera, Harman Kardon Premium Sound, and it works seamlessly with the Volvo Cars app.

Site dates:

- Victoria: Chadstone in Melbourne, 27 February to 12 March.

- Queensland: Westfield Carindale in Brisbane, 27 February to 12 March.

- New South Wales: Westfield Parramatta, 20 Feb to 5 March.
