What Google apps and services are built into the XC90?

The XC90 has the latest infotainment technology which makes your car as intuitive to use as your smartphone. The vehicle has Google Maps, Google Assistant and Google Play built-in*.

The voice-activated Google Assistant is your helpful support while you keep your eyes on the road and your hands on the wheel. Call or message friends, set reminders, enjoy entertainment or even change the temperature in the car - just say “Hey Google” to get started.

Google Maps is fully integrated in your Volvo and helps you reach your destination faster with real-time traffic info, automatic rerouting and voice control.

With the Google Play Store, you can easily download apps just as you would on your smartphone. Conveniently listen to your favourite music, podcasts, or audiobooks while you drive.

Yes, Apple CarPlay is standard on the XC90.*

Is Digital services a subscription?

Yes, up to 5 years of access to the services are included. After that you can buy a continuation of the subscription if you wish to continue using all the services included.

When does the Digital services subscription start and how long does it last?

A subscription lasts up to 5 years. If the car is new, this period starts on the retail delivery date. The subscription is linked to the car, so in the event of the car being sold, any remaining subscription time is passed on to the next owner/user.

Is all data required to run the Digital services package included?

Yes. All data is included for up to 5 years. This includes both for navigation and voice assistant, as well as downloading and running any type of apps (e.g. music streaming). After this period, the service can be extended as a subscription.
