Exceptionally sleek: The new ES90 is in a class of its own
Supreme comfort, ample legroom, latest tech. The ES90 brings business class travel to the whole family. It’s the only way to travel.

Volvo Cars ES90 will soon reach Australian showrooms – and in a world increasingly dominated by SUVs, it brings something a little different.
Advanced safety
Naturally, cutting edge safety technology is embedded both inside and out – it’s a Volvo.

In the event of a collision, the ES90 helps to keep occupants safe with a high-strength steel safety cage, front, rear and side deformation zones and battery protection. It also combines Volvo’s Side Impact Protection and elongated roof airbags that deploy in milliseconds.
Advanced radar, lidar sensors and camera systems actively combine to help reduce the risk of collisions from happening in the first place – scanning the road up to 250 meters ahead, even when it’s dark.
Inside, the driver understanding system monitors for signs of distraction and fatigue – it can help with lane keeping if attention wavers and even stop the car and activate hazards if the driver is unresponsive.
Plus the ES90 is the first Volvo Car to be powered by NVIDIA DRIVE AGX and the Volvo Superset Tech Stack, which means it has massive core compute capacity – and the systems self-learn and self-improve, meaning better safety and better overall experience over time.
In other words, continuous improvement now comes as standard.
Luxury sedan meets fastback meets the higher ground clearance of an SUV: Which puts the ES90 in a class of its own, literally.
Its versatility, aerodynamic design, confident performance and Volvo Cars’ most advanced battery architecture combine with five-seat comfort and ample boot space to eliminate compromise between professional life and personal lifestyle.
Plus it has a longer range and faster charging capability of any Volvo electric vehicle to date: The ES90 can charge from 10-80 per cent in as little as 22 minutes* and has a battery range of up to 554 kilometres**.
All of which comes at a price point that few high-end marques can match: Entry-level models come in under Australia’s Luxury Car Tax threshold.
Business class for all the family
A spacious, minimalist interior delivers business class travel for the whole family – with huge legroom, SUV-like headroom and ergonomic seats both front and rear. Plus, double laminated glass means it’s one of Volvo’s quietest ever cabins.

Powered front seats combine multiway way lumbar support and three-level heating as standard.
Powered front seats combine multiway way lumbar support and three-level heating as standard. There’s also the option of a ten-point massage function, which may prove attractive to those spending a lot of time on the road.
A panoramic roof ensures a light cabin, augmented by six ambient lighting themes and configurable illumination, while four zone climate control keeps all occupants comfortable – with advanced air purification filtering out 95 per cent of particulates.
Volvo’s 325-watt high performance sound system comes as standard, delivering clear, natural sound via 10 speakers. Or there’s the 940-watt, 14 speaker Bose system. Or opt for the top of the range 1,610 watt, 25 speaker Bowers & Wilkins system, designed to deliver a totally immersive audio experience – and now equipped with Abbey Road Studios mode.
Class-leading experience
Along with comfort and safety, the Volvo ES90 delivers one of the most advanced user experiences (UX) in its class thanks to intuitive tech.
The system is anchored by a central 14.5-inch vertical touchscreen and a digital driver display for easy navigation and multitasking. There’s Google built-in*** – bringing maps, assistant, Play store and unlimited data for five years – and the system supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Plus, 5G connectivity means near-instant online access, while wireless device charging keeps the family’s phones topped up.
Which all helps make longer trips that little bit smoother.
