Using responsive pixel light technology controlled by a front-mounted camera, each headlight unit’s 84-pixel LEDs can shade out up to five vehicles simultaneously – whether they’re coming toward you or in front of you. The boot of your XC40 can hold 443 l. Fold down the rear seat backrests to bump that up to a maximum of 1 432 l, including a 77-litre compartment under the boot floor. The inner wheel arches are pushed out of the way to widen the boot and create a flat floor. Lower the boot floor to stow heavy or bulky items – it’s simple enough to do with one hand. The power-operated tailgate opens with the touch of a button outside the car or on the centre display. At higher equipment levels, you can use your key fob or the Volvo Cars app.
