Radar is used by several driver support systems and has the task of sensing other vehicles.

The radar unit is used by the following functions:
  • Distance Warning*
  • Adaptive cruise control*
  • Pilot Assist*
  • Lane assistance
  • Assistance at risk of collision

Modification of the radar unit could result in its use being illegal.
