You may experience unexpected problems with you car, such as difficulty starting or charging. Restarting your car's central computer can help resolve these issues, just like a restart of your phone or laptop would.
With the service planning function, a workshop can check your car's status before your visit to the workshop.
You will be informed in the Volvo Cars app when your car needs to be taken into a workshop for a service. From here, you can book a service appointment, view your booking details, or cancel the appointment if needed.
You can replace the battery in your key tag when it goes flat. If however the battery goes flat within a short period of time, it may also need a software update by a Volvo dealer.
You can find your car's current maintenance status in the Volvo Cars app. You will also be notified when your car needs maintenance or a service.
If the centre display's response is slow, it might help to restart the display. A restart may also fix the problem if you are experiencing issues with e.g. Bluetooth, navigation or connectivity.
When you use the combustion engine of your plug-in hybrid, water is produced as a residual product. In cold weather, this water might turn into ice and block the exhaust pipe. In some cases, the ice blockage might even prevent your car from starting. There are some steps you can take to avoid this.
