This XC90 T8 Twin Engine crash test shows a side impact against a pole in 32 km/h (20 mph). The T8 Twin Engine is designed to be one of the safest cars in the world, just as any other Volvo. The tunnel around the battery package is reinforced. There are also reinforcements to the cross members, the sill extrusion by the door and the rear floor.
