Your EX40 is designed to help detect and avoid other vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists and large animals day or night. The SUV will first warn you if there’s a risk of collision. If you don’t react in time, the car can steer and brake the car.

To help keep passengers safe and the battery intact in the event of a collision, the EX40 carries a unique safety structure. The battery is protected by a safety cage consisting of an extruded aluminium frame embedded in the middle of the car’s body structure.
