VICTOR H. DOOLAN

Acting President and CEO, Volvo Cars of North America, LLC.

Mr. Victor H. Doolan is the acting President and CEO of Volvo Cars of North America, LLC. He became the 6th President of VCNA May 8, 2001. Prior to this he held the position of Executive Director, North America, Marketing and Distribution Strategy for the Premier Automotive Group. In this position, he was responsible for developing integrated marketing and distribution strategies for Ford Motor Company's Premier Automotive Group brands - Volvo, Lincoln, Jaguar, Aston Martin and Land Rover.

Mr. Doolan, who joined Ford Motor Company on July 17, 1999, previously served as President of BMW of North America, Inc., for seven years where he was responsible for all automotive sales, distribution and marketing activities in the United States.

Mr. Doolan's international business experience includes sales, marketing and finance leadership positions in the automotive and banking industries in the U.S., Canada, England and South Africa. He served as president of BMW Canada and Vice President of BMW South Africa.

A graduate of Watford College in the United Kingdom, he has received numerous awards for his philanthropic leadership, including the 1998 Marjorie Guthrie Leadership Award for fostering humanitarian concerns from the Huntington Disease Association and the 1996 Automotive Industry's "Good Scout" Award from the New York Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
