Volvo Supports Enhanced NHTSA 5-Star Ratings
Rockleigh, N.J. (Dec. 8 2015) Volvo Cars of North America (VCNA) supports changes proposed by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) to the New Car Assessment Program, which provides the 5-Star Safety Ratings on all new vehicles sold in the United States. The proposed enhancements would include crash avoidance systems into the overall rating along with a campaign to educate consumers about the value of crash rating information when purchasing a vehicle.
