What's New: 2008 Volvo C30
The Volvo C30 is all new for the 2008 model year. Listed below are a few of the new C30's highlights.
- 227-horsepower turbocharged inline-5 cylinder engine that produces 236 lb.-ft. of torque from 1,800 to 5,000 rpm.
- Volvo's first-ever Custom Build ordering process allows for up to 17 different exterior color choices and 12 interior combinations.
- The C30 is available in Version 1.0 and Version 2.0.
- At 8.5 inches shorter than the Volvo S40 sport sedan, the new C30 is about 320 lbs. lighter than its sedan counterpart.
- Use of varying grades of steel in front and at the rear help control collision intrusion into the passenger compartment.
- Volvo Dynamic Stability Traction Control (DSTC) System is standard on both versions.
- Anti-lock brakes with Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) is standard on both versions.
- Both versions come standard with four bucket-style seats.
