Remote starting climate using the Volvo Cars app
You can use the Volvo Cars app to start the climate control. This allows you to achieve a comfortable temperature in the vehicle before your next drive.

Available functions in the Volvo Cars app can vary depending on vehicle model, model year and region. Available functions may also vary over time.
Climate function
- Go to the home tab
and press Climate. - Start the climate control by pressing Turn on.The function will run for 15 minutes.
You can also activate climate from the home tab by pressing the fan symbolTip
. This allows you to quickly turn it on or off without going into climate settings.
Setting a climate timer
A timer can be set so that the climate control starts automatically at the selected time. Set the timer by selecting a time and day of the week. You can also select whether the timer should be repeated weekly.
To set a timer, go to the home tab and press Climate→Timer→Add timer.
Other climate settings
Driver seat, passenger seat and steering wheel heating may be available for your vehicle. This setting will activate automatically in cold weather conditions.
