Cornering lights

The automatic cornering lights improve visibility in the immediate vicinity of the vehicle.

When the passing beam is active, cornering lights trigger when driving and backing up at low speeds in poor lighting or dark conditions.

Typical function of cornering lights

The cornering lights illuminate the area close to the vehicle to give you better visibility when turning.

Note

Activation conditions

When driving forward, the cornering lights only activate at speeds under approximately 40 km/h (25 mph). Only the light on the side you are turning toward will illuminate. When backing up slowly, both cornering lights will turn on. When backing up at speeds over 10 km/h (6 mph), only the light on the side you are turning toward will illuminate.
