Software updates
Updating your vehicle's software ensures that it stays up to date with the latest features and improvements.
Software updates are primarily done over the air (OTA). If there’s no OTA update available for your vehicle you already have the latest version.
Some updates are only available at your Volvo retailer or authorized Volvo workshop. You don’t have to schedule an appointment for these updates as they are installed as part of your regular maintenance visit and other services.
Keep in mind that you may be charged when new software is installed at a Volvo retailer or workshop, unless it’s included in a repair or service agreement.Note
