Our Graduate programme is designed around you, by you. After 24 months, you’ll have a foundation in the most exciting industry on the planet and a ready-made network – everything you need to boost your career.

Required
A Master’s degree, completed by the time our next Global Graduates Programme starts. Fluent English is also necessary.
Experience
Maximum one year full-time work experience between the completion of your Master’s degree and the start of our programme.

Where does the Global Graduate Programme take place?
The job ad describes where the different positions are home-based. If you need to move from a different country, we’ll support with a relocation package.
How many graduates are hired each year?
The number of Global Graduates varies each year based on the demand of the business. The 2021 programme accepted approximately 50 graduates globally.
How long does the Global Graduate Programme last?
24 months.
Can I also apply for the Global Graduate Programme if I come from abroad?
The GGP is open to applicants worldwide, who fit the graduate profile. You can apply regardless of your citizenship. A potential offer however would always be pending on the approval of the local residence- and work permit.
Do I have a fixed-term or a permanent contract?
Our Global Graduates have permanent full-time employment within Volvo Cars from day one.
How is the Global Graduate Programme compensated?
The Graduates within the programme receive a salary according to the standard market rate.
Is there a guarantee of a job at the end?
Since you get permanent employment during the programme, all functions aim to offer interesting and challenging roles to graduates upon graduation, providing you have performed well during the Global Graduate Programme.
Is it necessary to have done an internship at Volvo Cars to apply for the Global Graduate Programme?
No, but it is not a disadvantage if you’re already familiar with the company.
Can I apply to multiple areas of the Global Graduate Programme?

Our recruitment process
Here’s a guide to help get you started on searching for Graduate opportunities at Volvo Cars.

Open from November 1. Apply with your CV and cover letter.
Which assessments you participate in depends on the competence area you apply for.
In early January some applicants are asked for a video interview with pre-recorded questions.
In late January we follow up with additional interviews if required.
We notify all successful candidates in late February or early March.
