QUALITY VOLVO TOWBARS AT LOWER PRICES

In anticipation of the impending start of the holiday season Volvo has reduced prices of its high quality, fully tested and warranted range of towbars by up to 25%, with new lower prices now ranging from just £219 to £453¹ depending on model.

Volvo customers needing a towbar for their new Volvo, or existing owners who might be planning to buy their first caravan, camping trailer or boat this summer, can enjoy cost savings on all four towbar options - fixed 7 or 13 pin, or detachable 7 or 13 pin. 

For example, Volvo V50 owners can now purchase a detachable towbar with 13-pin electrics for £397.341, down from £529.78, while all-new Volvo V70 drivers can buy a fixed towbar with 7-pin electrics for £240.511 reduced from £320.68.

Volvo's commitment to building great towcars is well known. It performs gruelling towing tests for all its new models both in Sweden and the desert heat of Arizona, USA, and even has its own fleet of trailers and caravans which are towed by vehicles steered using advanced robot technology to ensure consistent testing methodology.

This rigorous testing also extends to Volvos towbars. Volvo towbars are designed exclusively for its cars, are fully crash tested, and go through a special ‘green powder' coating process to minimise the risk of corrosion, and manufactured from the highest quality materials to maximise performance, life and appearance.

The current Volvo model range offers even more features that make them ideal towing companions. The all-new Volvo XC70, launched last year, incorporates Hill Descent Control (HDC), which regulates the vehicle's speed on steep downhill gradients in all conditions.  The HDC system also works in reverse gear, giving drivers extra control when reversing - a great benefit when manoeuvring a boat trailer down a slipway.
