This powertrain combines a turbocharged four-cylinder gas engine with front-wheel drive and a quick-shifting 8-speed automatic transmission. It’s engineered for fuel efficiency and smooth power across the rev range.

Mild hybrid technology helps save fuel by recovering energy during braking and using a 48-volt battery for confident acceleration from standstill.

B5 AWD Gas (mild hybrid)
The same turbocharged four-cylinder gas engine but with more power. It delivers dynamic performance and the confidence of all-wheel drive (AWD). This engine maximizes power by using low-friction technology and an advanced turbo. The turbo provides excellent response at low to medium engine speeds.

Like the B4 FWD powertrain, this option includes mild hybrid technology and a start/stop function for smooth driving efficiency.
