Volvo Cars forges path forward with launch of innovative Certified by Volvo program
ROCKLEIGH, NJ (November 1, 2018) – Volvo Car USA’s (VCUSA) award-winning Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) program continues to grow at a rapid pace. Through October, VCUSA CPO sales are up 24% for the year. Today, VCUSA announced the launch of the Certified by Volvo program, developed to meet the unique needs of certified vehicle buyers.
Through the new Certified by Volvo program, Volvo will offer its first ever unlimited mile certified warranty1. Coverage term can be customized to each customer’s needs - extended protection terms of up to 8 years are available1. To meet stringent Certified by Volvo standards, each potential vehicle must be carefully scrutinized by a factory trained technician and pass a 170+ inspection process. Vehicles in the program will also be screened to ensure that their titles and vehicle history meet Certified by Volvo standards – a detailed Carfax vehicle history report is provided with each Certified by Volvo vehicle. Vehicles must be 5 years or newer with fewer than 80,000 miles to be accepted into the program.
