S60 Sports Sedan Sets New Monthly Sales Record
ROCKLEIGH, N.J. (June 3, 2013) - Volvo Cars of North America, LLC, (VCNA) reported U.S. sales of 6,329 units, a 1.3 percent increase from May 2012. Year-to-date sales are down 5.9 percent over the first five months of 2012.
The S60 sports sedan set a new monthly sales record with 2,739 units sold, the highest monthly volume since the new S60 began selling in 2010, and up 28.9 percent versus May 2012. The XC60 finished the month right behind with 1,915 units sold, the second best month on record for the crossover.
