Tailor-made insurance program for Volvo owners
Irvine, CA (August 12, 2003) - Volvo Cars of North America, LLC continues to build life-long relationships with Volvo owners by now offering an insurance program developed specifically for Volvo customers through the Care by Volvo Insurance Services program.
The program replaces the previous Volvo Value Insurance Program with enhancements that include the means to receive multiple quotes from participating insurance companies, and to purchase insurance products that best suit Volvo customers' needs. The carriers participating include Traveler's Property Casualty, Fireman's Fund Insurance Company, The Hartford, GE Capital, The Hanover Insurance Company and Citizens Insurance Company of America, Infinity Group, Leader Group, Esurance, and Unitrin Direct.
Volvo Cars offers the program through its related affiliate, American Road Services Company, a licensed insurance agency. , The program has been launched in 30 states covering approximately 87 percent of Volvo's customer base. Nation-wide coverage is expected in 2004.
Care by Volvo is currently offered in AL, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IA, IL IN KY, LA, MD, ME, MO, MN, NC, NH, NY, OH, OK OR, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, VA, WA, WI. The program offers preferred rates and premium coverage to Volvo owners.
There will be a fully functional Internet site launched during the 4th quarter of 2003, which will give customers the opportunity to receive quotes and apply for insurance entirely online. In addition to auto coverage, Volvo customers can receive quotes for home, boat and umbrella coverage.
