Expense reimbursement benefits are provided in the event of a warranty-related disablement occurring more than 100 miles from your primary residence up to $1,000.00, including meals, lodging, car rentals and more.
Expenses for food, lodging and alternate transportation such as a rental vehicle and/or commercial transportation (i.e. taxi, Uber, Lyft, bus, train, or airfare) are covered.
In order to qualify for the Trip Interruption benefits, the car must be towed by Volvo Roadside Assistance to an authorized Volvo dealership.
Reimbursement consideration is for expenses incurred during the disablement. Our Volvo Roadside Assistance team must be supplied with original receipts and the repair order from the servicing Volvo dealer to qualify for reimbursement. Trip interruption reimbursement is limited to a total of $1,000.00 and it is required that you contact Volvo Roadside Assistance Plus. We can be reached at 1-800-638-6586.
All trip interruption claims must be submitted with the following:
- The original itemized repair order from the dealer that repaired the vehicle due to a mechanical disablement
- Itemized receipts for food, car rental, hotel and etc.
The following items are not eligible for reimbursement under trip interruption:
- Expenses due to tire failure and accidents
- Fuel
- Tolls
- Rental car add-ons
