The generously dimensioned headrests are easily adjusted to provide relaxing support for the neck. For work or relaxing activities, each seat has a foldable table, an illuminated cup holder, and a storage compartment with a built-in USB-C connector for fast charging of your mobile. All seat functions and adjustments are conveniently operated from the armrest control panel or the centre display. When entering the car, a welcoming function moves the seats back 50mm to facilitate entry and then returns to the preset position.

The large sliding rear doors make it easy to enter and exit the second and third rows of seats. With a touch of a button on the door handle the door opens up. When in position in the rear seats, just press a button on the left or right door pillar and the door closes softly.

Charge personal devices in the EM90 using the two USB-C connection points in each row of seats and the wireless charging port below the centre console. Look for an HDMI port in the front armrest. Instead of hunching over a laptop to join meetings and view presentations, the display allows you to collaborate more comfortably. As your gateway to third-party apps, the display is also a convenient way to enjoy films, games and a little karaoke.

Fold the display down using a voice command or with the press of a button. Choose from five positions to get the best viewing angle for passengers in the second and third rows. When it's time to rest, tuck it back into the roof and out of view.

Turn the EM90 cabin into a conference space when productivity is a priority. Activate Meeting Mode to automatically close windows and the panoramic roof sunshade. The high-definition folding roof display will also drop and show productivity options for video conferencing, presentations and more.

Choose between five ambience themes inspired by Scandinavian nature: Archipelago, Midsummer, Northern Lights, Forest Bath, and Nordic Twilight. The ambience theme is also reflected in the rear screen's rest mode. The interior illumination can also be set to pulse in tune with the music you're playing.

An advanced monitoring system is designed to optimise each battery cell's voltage and operating temperature. This actively improves the safety performance of your car battery. To help reduce the effects of a collision, the battery is housed in a strong aluminium and steel structure that enables safe and stable performance in real-world crash scenarios.

Should a collision occur, the car's computer can cut the battery's power supply to help prevent a short circuit, further helping to protect you and your loved ones.

Enjoy comfortable driving on multi-lane highways as well as on single-lane roads. Pilot Assist helps keep an eye on the traffic and lane markings and supports you by adapting the speed and providing gentle steering assistance to help keep the car centred in its lane with a maintained distance to the vehicle in front. The car can also adapt speed in curves to optimise ride comfort. It can also adjust speed automatically according to current road speed limits. In certain conditions, Pilot Assist can make lane changes. And when passing large vehicles such as trucks or meeting oncoming vehicles on roads without physical dividers, the car can adapt your position on the road to make it more pleasant for you as a driver. Pilot Assist is active up to 130km/h. You can enjoy convenient support but must be as attentive and engaged as during normal driving.

The Driver Alert System adds a new layer of safety by complementing the car's exterior sensing technology. It's designed to detect if the driver is distracted or drowsy – also if Pilot Assist or adaptive cruise control is activated. The interior eye-monitoring sensor can track the state of the driver. Should you for some reason show signs of being inattentive or disconnected, the system can alert you and even guide you to a nearby rest stop.

The EM90 uses rear-facing cameras to detect cyclists, scooters and vehicles approaching from behind. When the driver or a passenger goes to open their door when this happens, the MPV will issue an alert. The alert has two levels. First, there's an audio warning from the centre display and a steady light in the wing mirror on the affected side. The alert escalates when a collision risk is imminent with a warning sound and a flashing light.

The EM90 uses state-of-the-art restraint technology and structural design to help protect the driver and passengers in the event of a crash. In the front of the MPV, a well-balanced crumple zone and a strong safety cage are designed to help handle the energy created in different crash scenarios.
