The large, free-standing 11.2-inch centre display with its intuitive user interface gives an instant overview and control of most car functions. The most important functions are easily accessible on the home screen, with navigation in your field of vision so that you can keep attention on traffic. Below you'll find selected in-car apps such as media and phone, as well as buttons for the power tailgate and glove box. There's also a contextual bar with commonly used functions that only appear when they're available, helping to reduce complexity for you as a driver. At the bottom there's a fixed menu with a home button, in-car apps, climate, park assist camera and car settings. A special view with quick controls for frequently used functions makes it even easier to adapt the car's functions to your own preferences.

The 12.3-inch driver information display shows all the essential driver information that’s needed to keep you constantly updated. It's designed to give you intuitive control and quick overview. The driver information display features two display modes showing different levels of information: Calm and Navi.

The head-up display presents vital driver information so it appears in your field of vision at a distance that's comfortable for your eyes. You can keep your eyes on the traffic at the same time as you see actual speed, speed limits, navigation directions and more. You don't have to change focus or look down, which gives less strain on the eyes. The brightness of the head-up display adapts automatically to the light conditions, and you can set the system to suit your own personal preferences and link it to the memory function for the power-operated seat.

Get software updates sent directly to your car via the cloud. These over-the-air (OTA) updates roll out periodically, improving your car over time with no workshop visit required. OTA updates also make it easy to upgrade and add software-based features and packages at any time.

The standard two-zone climate system lets front-row passengers set individual temperatures on the centre display. Floor air outlets and adjustable air vents in the roof pillars help keep rear passengers comfortable.

Select the four-zone climate system to let outer second-row passengers set their own temperature and fan speed. They can manage settings from a touch panel at the back of the centre console. Add third-row air conditioning for extra comfort in the back on warm days.

Use the

Volvo Cars app to warm or cool the cabin before you get in. You can also run an air purification cycle and de-ice the windows.

Select the air purifier to help improve cabin air quality. It helps reduce levels of PM2.5 particles, as well as dust, pollen and airborne viruses.

Check cabin air quality on the centre display and use it to run an air purification cycle. You can also refresh the cabin remotely using the Volvo Cars app.

Child seats can be installed in any of the three rear seats with ISOFIX anchorages in the outer positions.

Integrated child seats
When your little ones outgrow their rear-facing child seats, they can transition to the built-in booster cushion in the centre of the second row, which supports a proper seatbelt fit and comfortable seating. Not available in the 6-seat configuration.

Mechanical or power child lock
The standard mechanical child lock on the rear doors can be upgraded to a power child lock. It lets you control the rear doors and windows directly from the driver's seat.

Child safety recommendations
Our approach to child safety includes rigorous testing based on real-life traffic situations. That's why we strongly recommend keeping kids in rear-facing child seats until they’re at least four years old.

Reduced cabin noise
Sound insulation and strategically placed acoustic foam help block wind and road noise. Choose laminated side windows to help preserve the calm inside.


Suspension options
The standard chassis with Frequency Selective Damping technology adapts to road conditions for a more controlled drive. The dampers were precisely tuned on demanding Catalonian rally stages, the rugged German Eifel mountains and Volvo’s own testing grounds in Sweden.

The optional active chassis with air suspension gives you an even smoother road feel by adjusting ride height and stiffness. It continuously monitors the car, road and driver, adapting 500 times per second for improved cornering and reduced pitch and roll.

Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) can provide active support when changing lanes. If there’s a vehicle in your blind spot or fast approaching from behind, a light in the door mirror can alert you. If you start to move towards a vehicle in the adjacent lane, steering support can help gently guide the car back into its lane.

Select the 360° camera to help see around your car when your view is limited. Front, rear and side cameras show the area closest to you as you manoeuvre in tight spaces. The centre display combines the camera feeds into a high-resolution 360° bird’s-eye view, with graphics that show the car’s intended path.

Use split-screen to see the front or rear camera view alongside the 360° image. Switch to rear camera zoom when hitching a trailer.

Cross Traffic Alert with auto brake supports the driver when reversing with a limited view. The system can detect vehicles crossing behind your car and alert you with visual and sound signals. If the driver does not react, the car can brake automatically.

Our safety assistance technology can help when you turn across oncoming traffic. If there’s a risk of collision, the car can automatically brake.
