Volvo Cars Engine is part of the Volvo Cars organisation.
We are manufacturers and suppliers of high-class and cost-effective engines, components and powertrains/powerpacks.

Volvo Cars Engine consists of units: the engine factory in Skövde, Uddevalla, component manufacturers in Floby and the assembly plants in Torslanda and Ghent, Belgium.
The company’s operations also include the Volvo Competence Centre training unit that works with clients in manufacturing industry.
As of 31 December 2005, the company had 1,260 employees in Skövde, 300 in Floby, 688 at the Engine & Chassis Centre in Torslanda, 20 in Engine Chassis Centre in Uddevalla and 262 in Ghent.
