We take service personally.
We believe servicing your car should be simple. So we’ve reinvented the traditional idea of a workshop visit. By consigning old working methods to the past, we aim to create a new approach to service that’s personal, efficient, and which takes care of you as well as it takes care of your car.
Volvo Service 2.0
Our service. Designed for you.
Owning a car shouldn’t be complicated. It should be as easy and enjoyable as possible. So we’ve created a unique service that includes everything you need to get the most out of life with your Volvo. We call it Volvo Service 2.0.
Personal service contact
We’ll introduce you to your very own personal service contact who will answer any questions you may have about your car, and be there to offer advice and support if needed.
There’s no reason why you should have to change your schedule just because your car’s in for service. We’ll always offer you alternative transport so you can get on with your day.
We’re continually improving the software for our cars. So to make sure you’re always equipped with the latest version, we update the software in your Volvo during every service.
Our expert technicians will carry out a thorough inspection of your Volvo’s safety systems as well as checking the status of your battery. Just to be on the safe side.
After every service we’ll clean your Volvo inside and out. So when you pick it up, it will look just as good as it feels to drive.
Extended Volvo Assistance
Volvo Assistance offers round-the-clock protection against everything from accidents to breakdowns to a lost set of keys. After every service, we’ll extend your Volvo Assistance for one year at no extra cost.
Volvo Genuine Service
You only get Volvo Genuine Service at a genuine Volvo workshop. A unique combination of expert technicians, innovative Volvo work methods, and Volvo Genuine Parts.

Alchemy of leather
For more than thirty years, the interiors of Volvo cars have been graced with the finest leather from Bridge of Weir Leather Company in Scotland. Because behind every luxurious piece of Bridge of Weir leather, you’ll find over a century’s worth of craftsmanship, knowledge and expertise. In fact, many consider it to be the finest automotive leather in the world. Well, why else would it be in your Volvo?
Ownership and in car delivery
The news that Volvo Cars is planning to introduce keyless cars will come as music to the ears of anyone who has ever spent a morning frantically searching for the keys they misplaced the night before. But the move towards keyless cars isn’t just for the benefit of the absent-minded among us. It is actually part of an innovative, long-term plan to make owning a Volvo simpler and more convenient in the future.
The race for perfection
In this article, we visit the Volvo Ocean Race Boatyard in Lisbon, Portugal. Here, we meet the team of experts responsible for repairing and re-fitting the entire fleet of Volvo Ocean 65 boats that will compete in the 2017-18 edition of the Volvo Ocean Race. We describe each team member’s individual area of expertise and show how the team works together to ensure that each boat is repaired identically, on time and to the highest possible standard. Their expertise in different areas represents the same level of competence you find at a Volvo workshop. We also meet Swedish sailor Martin Strömberg, who won the 2011-12 edition of the race, to find out what a great service programme gives him as a sailor.
Everything we do is designed around people, so every innovation we make is designed to simplify and improve your life. We're especially proud of our advances in efficient power, connectivity and safety. We call our thinking in these areas: Drive-E, Sensus, and IntelliSafe.
